Sanna Vesikansa

I have served three terms on the Helsinki City Council as a representative of the Greens and I am a mother of three from the north Helsinki district of Pirkkola. I served as Helsinki’s Deputy Mayor for Social Services and Health Care 2017-2021.

I strive to build a capital city that invests in children and young people, prevents inequality, and makes mental health a priority. I want to continue this important work. Now is the time to repair the damage from coronavirus and build a sustainable and climate-friendly future Helsinki where everyone can prosper.
